Wednesday, September 3, 7pm - Base Meeting
Returning Pathfinder members reunite and prepare for the coming semester.
Our kickoff meeting! An opportunity to meet new members, get to know each other, and hopefully enjoy some tasty snacks! There will also be a discussion about what it means to live in Christian community, how we can serve God and one another, and how these ideas relate to Pathfinder. This is a student-run group, so each of us has a real opportunity to influence the group's direction. We are always finding new paths!
Tuesday, September 16 - Turf Dinner and Activities Fair
It would be great for Pathfinder to have a booth at this event. Something to discuss at the base meeting!
Wednesday, September 17, 6:30-9:00pm - Volunteer Study Break at McAlister
Local agencies come to recruit volunteers from the Claremont Colleges. This means our meeting will be moved to the McAlister library. It would also be great if some Pathfinder members could come to the event to make contacts with organizations and get ideas for volunteer projects.
Saturday, September 20 - Beach Cleanup
A Volunteer Services Center event that we can go to as a group. Transportation is provided!
We also have a lot of ideas for discussion topics and potential speakers. The idea is that we will find out when the speakers are available and then plan independent discussions and/or activities for the weeks when we don't have someone coming in to talk. Feel free to add your own ideas and suggestions by email or by using the comments feature on this site.
