A Semester Begins!

The semester is off to a good start! We had our first meeting last Wednesday and spent quite a bit of time talking about what we'd like to see in Pathfinder this semester. It looks like there will be a strong focus on service and social action, as well as some interesting discussions based on guest speakers, readings from the Bible, and readings from more contemporary theology. Eva and Rebecca have returned with all sorts of enthusiasm and dedication, and it was great to see Rachel, who was joining us for the first time!

I received a beautiful email from Tessa, who has found a job in Pasadena and is keeping us in her prayers.

We are officially registered for the Turf Dinner on Tuesday, September 16. This will be a great opportunity to let people know about Pathfinder! We have funding available from ASPC, but we need to fill out a form before we can access it- more info at tomorrow's meeting!

We will be meeting tomorrow at 7:00 at McAlister. We will be discussing community and Christianity, starting with readings from the Bible and from more contemporary sources. Hope to see you there!
